Your Second Visit

Second Visit

Your second visit will start with a 1 hour presentation by the doctors at The Spinal Garage which will outline what chiropractic is and what chiropractic is not, stages of degeneration, basic anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, chiropractic science, current health care in Canada and how chiropractic adjustments work. Most importantly, we want to educate you and your spouse/support person so you have the tools to make the best possible decision towards your health.

Following this, your doctor will take you and your spouse into a private report room and show you the results of your examination.

Report of Findings

Once the information is collected  and examinations are performed, your chiropractor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  1. How can you help me?
  2. How often do I need to come in?
  3. What  will  my treatment  cost?

After reviewing your health history,  goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, your doctor will discuss recommendations and notify you if  your condition  requires care with other providers. Your chiropractor will  provide the best  treatment and wellness program for your needs and health goals.

Treatment

At the conclusion of this initial  appointment, you can choose to  experience your first treatment. This may include a spinal adjustment and management recommendations for after your adjustment until your next visit. Treatment is interactive and tailored to you and your needs, so  you can express concerns or ask questions about the different styles of treatment anytime. We are here for you and expect miracles!

Wellness Program

Prior to leaving, your doctor will suggest a wellness program  to incorporate outside of treatment.  If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches.  If you desire,  our wellness team will work with you also to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle.  Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires a  customized wellness plan.  The purpose  of our wellness program is for   you  to achieve good spinal alignment, have a  healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • ""I have had severe headaches and lower back pain for 13 years. I also kept getting colds that ended up in pneumonia and endometriosis for 5 years. Sometimes I needed to take days and weeks off work to recuperate and just stay in bed. At one time I even had to stop working for 4 years, and as a teacher this was very discouraging. I had seen many doctors and was taking Tylenol, Ibuprofen and sleeping tablets plus was told that I needed surgery.

After I started Chiropractic care, I can honestly say that everything is almost 100%. I have so much more energy and any sign of lung or sinus congestion disappears with an adjustment. Even my gums don't bleed anymore! Everybody should go to the chiropractor to feel rejuvenated!""
